"Our son picked up soccer last summer at 9 years old. He doesn’t have that much experience with the sport other than 1 outdoor season and 2 indoors. He is going into outdoor again this fall and we heard good things about your camp so we decided to give it a try. It has always been a struggle to try and get him to practice due to his lack of confidence within himself in order for him to improve. I will just say that he went into the first day of camp not knowing what to expect. He had to sit out for a little bit because the heat was getting to him, but day after day he came home and was excited to show me what he learned. He is now getting up in the morning and picking up the ball before breakfast practicing shooting goals and dribbling. Now he is playing everyday for at least 2-3 hours exited to continue. He was showing me one of the drills where you have to keep the ball away from a defender for 15 seconds and I think I have only kept it away for a max of 8. He was very passive on the field last year waiting for others to get the ball not knowing what to do. I have definitely seen improvement with that. Now as he charges me and my wife fighting us for it. For what it’s worth, I wanted to pass this along to you to let you know the positive influence your camp was for my son and I am sure for the other campers as well.
